Frequently asked questions

If your question is not addressed below, please feel free to reach out via the Contact tab.

How much does a consultation cost?

Single case consultation is $175.
If a case is complex and requires more than 30 minutes for research and report generation, there may be additional charges.

I recommend passing this cost on to the client as a specialist consultation fee.

What is the turnaround time for consultations?

Reports are generated within 48 hours of consultation

What is included in a consultation?

You can submit exam findings, lab results, radiograph, ultrasound or advanced imaging images/reports, husbandry information, photos/videos and anything else you think is important for a case, including specific questions you may have. Then we can speak via text, phone, email or video chat about the case.
I will send you a report detailing differential diagnoses, additional diagnostic recommendations and treatment options within 48 hours of the initial consultation.

I am an exotic pet owner, can you see my pet/write a prescription?

Due to regulations surrounding telemedicine, this service is only provided to veterinary professionals working with exotic pets. If your exotic pet has a health concern, please reach out to your local veterinarian or use the find-a-vet function on www.aemv.org, www.aav.org or www.arav.org to find a qualified exotics veterinarian.

How can I find out more about available courses and masterclasses?

Join my email list below! My email list always gets the info about new offerings first, and I also send out discount codes on there. I promise not to spam you - I typically drop about one email a week and occasionally up to 3 emails the week a course launches.

Do you offer group discounts for your courses?

Yes! Contact me so we can discuss your situation to determine the best setup and offer for your group.

Can you teach a course on X topic?

Maybe! I plan my courses/classes based on feedback and demand from other DVMs/veterinary staff.

Contact me to let me know what you are looking for! If it's not in my plans, I can usually direct you to a resource that will help.
